Up for sale is a truly unique piece. I can't find a maker's mark anywhere on this, but when you lift the top, there is a patent mark for 1928 on the metal hardware. This leads me to believe it is likely a custom-made piece of furniture from the era.
On the interior left side there is a bar that looks like it is meant for hanging clothes. The top lifts and there is a mirror in the lid, so maybe it is a wardrobe/vanity combination. It has a very unique interior piece that is removeable and can be used as an extension to the surface under the lid. Could that be intended for pressing garments?
Great candidate for restoration or give it a little TLC and enjoy the patina.
